Council participates in Ride to Work Day

The City of Ballarat is going the extra mile to promote environmental sustainability and health awareness by taking part in National Ride to Work Day on Wednesday, 12 October.

Ride to Work Day is a simple yet effective way in which Ballarat residents can contribute to improving their overall health and reduce their impact on the environment.

All Council staff are being encouraged to ride to work.

The City of Ballarat is also taking part in the Walktober Challenge from 1 - 31 October.

The Walktober Challenge is designed to encourage employees to leave their car at home and walk part or all of the way to work, or walk to meetings instead of driving.
