Australian Business Arts Foundation (AbaF) Victoria will be presenting two information sessions at the Art Gallery of Ballarat Annexe on Thursday 20 October. These sessions are free of charge and offered courtesy of the City of Ballarat. Eric Lilja, Director of AbaF Victoria will present both sessions.
The first session will be held from 10:30am-12:00pm to discuss the Australia Cultural Fund. Topics covered will include tax deductibility, information on registering with the Fund, and advice on securing donations from existing networks. It's an ideal information session for individual artists and small cultural organizations who might benefit from an alternative fundraising resource.
The second session will be held from 1:00pm-2:00pm to discuss AbaF and trends in private sector support for the arts, along with information about Woodside Better Business volunteering services. Topics addressed will include how artists and businesses alike can benefit from volunteerism through programs such as adviceBank and boardBank.
